  1. WAT IF WE APPLY IN THE SECOND DEADLINE SLOT?
I AM NOT AIMING AT THE TOPMOST ONES. BUT YES SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 40-50 RANKED COLLEGES. WHEN ARE THEIR DEADLINES FOR THE 1ST ROUND?SHOULD OCTOBER 1ST WEEK BE A DECENT TIME TO TAKE GMAT?

  2. For the Round 2 deadlines I will post later. Since there is less time left for R1 deadlines, so I have posted the list here to help R1 applicants [who read this blog ;)] plan accordingly.

As per your 2nd question, I don't have the information right now for them. I suggest you check the deadlines of those colleges on their websites and make an xls for the same.

GMAT - I believe for R1 applications, taking GMAT in Oct 1st week is not generally recommended. But if you are already done with your essays and other aspects of applications, then you can give it a try. But you can definitely try for R2, provided you have done some decent research on your goals, target schools etc.
